Online marketeer focused on growth and the transition to a new website, App & brand of Kijkshop. &


Kijkshop was just days before the launch of their new website, app and rebranding and were looking for an experienced online marketeer to jump in. The focus was primarily to support the transition through: conversion optimisation of the new website, gain new app downloads, generate continuous traffic and advise on growth, data & reporting. 

Method of working: 

The intensity of the project involved a 4-day workweek with days at the office and working from home. In the beginning, there were more face-to-face meetings involved with the team and stakeholders after which it was possible to carry out work such as setting up campaigns, writing briefings, building up display marketing & paid social campaigns and communication with agencies from the location of choice. An all-round marketing function which changed weekly depending on the needs and focuses during an intensive launch period. 


A challenging 3-month project in a period which called for many re-starts and re-building of different systems, tracking and general audience trust. We achieved a 50% growth in conversion rate (not reaching the target but growing with the tools we had available), a more structured and insightful data reporting culture from the marketing team, a more customer-centric communication and almost 100K app downloads.
